We stayed at Caserío San Pedro from August 16-23 and I really cannot say enough good things about this place. It was absolutely perfect, and it's owners Marí Paz and José Manuel are wonderful people. The house is beautiful, tastefully and traditionally decorated, and very well equipped. The pictures don't do it justice. The house itself is quite old and has a quaint cottage feel to it, but it has every modern amenity. Each spacious bedroom has a comfortable bed and large bathroom with big, clean showers. There were six of us staying at the house and hot water was never an issue. Space wasn't a problem either, as the house has a large dining table and living area, garden with another large table and BBQ, front patio with tables and chairs, and upstairs balcony with rocking chairs. It was the perfect house to spend time with family, while also allowing everyone their privacy. The house is ideally located for a mix of R&R with sightseeing. It is a short drive to both the beach, the resort town of Llanes, and the Picos de Europa mountain range. There are also some wonderful dining options and a small town with supermarkets nearby, but it's essential to rent a car. 10/10!
